The SMSGlobal Android Application allows SMSGlobal users to send SMS through the SMSGlobal Gateway.
This application enables you to:
> Send SMS to a number or contact from phone and/or SMSGlobal account
> Select contacts from phone
> Select groups and contacts from SMSGlobal account
> Filter for a contact on the contacts page
> Auto mapping of the SMSGlobal contact with the phone contact for displaying the name and profile pic
> Incoming SMS Report

The SMSGlobal classes for the Zend Framework provide functionality for sending SMS using a variety of SMSGlobal’s services, including:
> Two-way SMS
> Dedicated numbers
> Custom Sender IDs
> Multipart messaging
> Unicode messaging
The components themselves comprise of:
> Fully object oriented PHP 5 code
> Classes for sending SMS via SMSGlobal
> Classes for interpreting incoming messages pushed to your server if requested
> Filters and Validators for MSISDNs (mobile numbers) and Sender IDs
To install the classes, simply add the SmsGlobal directory to your library directory or include path.

David Warring at metacpan.org has written a PERL Driver that makes use of the SMSGlobal API.
SMS::Send::SMSGlobal::HTTP is a simple driver for SMS::Send for sending messages via www.smsglobal.com using the SMS Global HTTP API.

Features:
The SMSGlobal SMS Plugin enables you to increase your traffic to your WordPress site and increase your post read rates by keeping your users informed via SMS alerts when new posts are added. The plugin also allows you to send SMS manually through the ‘Send SMS’ tab on the control panel. You have the choice of sending SMS to all users, or to select from individual groups including admins, editors, authors, contributors and subscribers. You may also enter any mobile number through the ‘Send SMS’ tab.
Simple configuration of your SMSGlobal settings including your username, password and choice of sender ID is accessible through the ‘SMS Settings’ tab.
Your users can elect to receive SMS alerts by entering their mobile details in their profile page. This plugin will then use the mobile number in their preferences to deliver the SMS to. As an Administrator, you will also be able to update this information through your Profile page.

1. Upload the zip file to the plugins tab.
2. Activate Plugin
SMSGlobal configuration:
Sign up for an account with SMSGlobal
Enter your SMSGlobal username and password in the SMS settings tab. You may also select your Sender ID here.
To send SMS:
Turn ‘Send Post alerts’ ON in the SMS Settings tab
Select ‘Send SMS’ on side bar OR ‘Send Post Alert’ on the select post
